Update 4.6u

Update to Meteohub V4.6u (NSLU2, x86, SheevaPlug) brings these features:

• meteolog.cgi now reports in proper XML syntax (quoted parameters, correct closing brackets). External programs adapted to the old style might need some rework. Example: old style <TH date=20101130132314 id=th0 temp=-4.3 hum=87 dew=-6.1> converts to <TH date="20101130132314" id="th0" temp="-4.3" hum="87" dew="-6.1" />
• fixes a bug where message "Demo license timed out" appears in "Meteohub log" and data logging failed although a valid activation code is stored.

Update from Meteohub version 4.6t to version 4.6u (build 198) on NSLU2. After update it has stopped data logging.
Message: "error connect socket 127.0.0.1:5555 :Connection refused
Opgelet: Data logging is gestopt."

Can you fix this problem?

Terrible: After updating to 4.6u all Data transfers to Weather Display stopped. Consequently Weather Display Live has no Data as well.

Is there a way to "downgrade"?

What version have you used before? There have been changes in WD file creation some months ago...

You mention both Weather Display and Weather Display Live, but they are two separate things.

Transfer of Meteohub data to WeatherDisplay (an application running on Windows & some systems) is possible via Meteohub's logging protocol, but that is an entirely different matter to Meteohub's ability to create and upload files that are compatible with WeatherDisplay Live (a browser based (Flash) application).

My guess, and I think Boris' too, is that your problem is just with WDL, but maybe it would be best to clarify?

Hi and thank you for your comments.

My problem (was) not Weather Display Live but rather Weather Display getting no data from meteohub.

Among other points for me to use Weather Display between Meteohub and WD Live is that Weather Display feeds Weather Display Live down to a 3 seconds interval whereas meteohup takes 1 minute intervals. In my configuration Meteohub is my Datacollector and buffer between VP2 and Weatherdisplay. When cutting off Weatherdisplay for different reasons, meteohup still feeds my webs (including WDL) with data.
One can e.g. verify that effect at european night time, when my WDL generates forecast sows in english pushing from data coming from VP2 to meteohub.

I am in touch with Boris in this matter and he will look in it occasionally.

Weather display seems to have a problem to read quoted XML conform values 4.6u is providing. I switched back to non-quoted values when reading data from the meteolog.cgi service. Using URL parameter "quotes=1" XML conform quoting of values is used.

When you update now again to 4.6u, these changes will be effective to your Meteohub.

Revival of 4.6t necessary in my configuration because of missing solar data under 4.6u --> Weather Display.

After the update and recalculation I have noticed one strange thing - Wind Chill is calculated from the wrong sensor.
I have set "Wind Chill calculation" to "compute from wind a temperature (th0) readings" but it uses th4 of my TE-923.
I think, it worked OK before but I don't know on which version I was before the update.
Now It uses sensor TS24C#0, which I have defined as th4 instead of th0 (TS24C#4)

Hi !

I´ve a problem with upload on AWEKAS. After update i´ve been blocked because i send wrong Air Pressure (to low). In the moment my station shows 1015 and awekas receive 1013,2 the last hours.

Also have the same meteonet error 4 like some posts before!
