Hello
Having been using my O Scientific WMR928 successfully with my Meteoplug until recently when one of the Wireless Sensors gave up the ghost (using a serial to USB converter), I have now purchased a Davis Vantage Pro2 with a Davis Datalogger (USB) and Weatherlink s/w. I'm now confused as I'm not sure weather this will work with the Meteohub or whether I should have purchased the Serial version of the Datalogger. The Meteohub has a USB i/p, but what is confusing me, is the dashboard gives me the option of usb/serial connection, tcp/ip or tcp/ip Meteohub but no usb only connection. I gather that the meteohub cannot use the Vantage data, but instead compiles its own. As you can see, I'm a little confused and wonder if some kind sould could push me in the right direction.
Thank you
Richard

Re: Vantage Pro 2 USB and meteohub
Yes, you need to select "USB serial". This is the proper setting when you have the Vantage with the built-in serial-usb converter (the one you have) or if you have a serial Vantage with an external serial-USB converter (the one I have).
For "device" you will choose one of the options (like ... /dev/ttyUSB0) to select the actual port used.
Good luck!

Hi Ed
Thank you for that bit of info, it confirmed that I was on the right track but hadn't got the bit of info to get it working. After resetting the meteohub, the data from the meteohub is now posting to the internet..great!!
