I need help for meteohub installation

Dear all

I am working on meteohub installation on NSLU2 and I follow step by step the instructions :
- NSLU2 has been flashed with SlugOS 4.8
- connection via Putty is OK and I changed IP adresse to 192.168.1.77

Now I am working on FIRMWARE IMAGE phase but I have an issue during step 7 (http://www.meteohub.de/files/How-To_Bui ... NSLU2).pdf). Indeed link for unrar package download (http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/slugo ... mv5teb.ipk) is out of order.

So 1st question: where can I find this package ?

I also start to read instructions for next installation phase which is USB-Stick Image and I am afraid with step 1 described in the document provided (http://www.meteohub.de/files/How-To_Bui ... NSLU2).pdf).
Apparenlty we have to manually install all packages listed in the 3 first pages by using ipkg command.

So my 2nd question: are we really obliged to install manually all those packages ? Is there any way to "automatize" those package installation ?

unless you want to build your own customized firmware just follow instructions given in the main manual. this much easier. instructions you found are there to explain how to build the firmware from scratch using open source components, which is an obligation to describe in order to follow gpl rules.

Yeah you're right I am just reading instructions given in the main manual and indeed it's really ore simple.

Problem is I don't have web interface on NSLU2 (it's a second hand equipment) so how can I manage for flashing with meteohub-firmware-2.3.bin ?

What is unslug ? A way to recover original firmware (and a such a way recover web interface ?

I will directly flash NSLU2 with "meteohub-firmware-2.3.bin" by using upslug2 command from my desktop.

With this new firmware, will I recover web interface on NSLU2 ?

yes directly flash the meteohub firmware.

no, meteohubfirmware does not provide a web interface. it also needs a prepared usb stick to have the meteohub system running. all that is explained in the manual.
