Sheevaplug not responding

I had 4 Shevaplugs (WeatherHub2), purchased a few months ago, and I just bought another brand new one. I was able to ping it and access its web pages.
On one of my original units I had saved a backup file of all settings (Maintenance tab, Backup Settings). On my new unit I loaded the backup settings in order to quickly set it up. Now it appears to be totally dead, I can't ping it or access it's web pages at either the default IP 192.168.1.77 or the new IP that was in the backup config file. I've spent over an hour and I can't communicate with it at all.
I've also tried the ipscan tool and it doesn't see it either.
Even if I changed the IP address should I still be able to see it at 192.168.1.77?? (The manual says that on page 23)
What should I do now? Should I reformat the SD card to its factory default?
