Mysterious system hangs, linux help needed

Post by wvdkuil »

System stops responding on port 80 en stops uploads.
Meteohub should only upload data, no other interactions normally. But when data not arrives at website i try to login, no response.
Meteohub does not react to ping, shows no open ports at all using a port scanner.

Although i am not familiar with linux, i tried to read the logs.
Data area is only partly used, so thats not the problem.

I am always using on this "Meteohub ready system with VGA and WLAN, ALX3W" (meteohub says Alix1D) the WLAN interface. The other Meteohubs never hang, but they are using the LAN.

I included a system log.
The only strange thing i found that
Jul 4 13:16:22 meteohub kernel: spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7.
But that is the last entry before the hangs but that is days old.

Could the WLAN be the problem?
What should I look for in the log?

Hello,

looks like I have the same problem. Every now and then, Meteohub stops uploading the graphs and the all-sensors-file. Today it was the third break in 2 weeks, before it worked without problems for 2-3 month. The problem obviously concerns only the WLAN, Meteohub itself works fine (calculating weather data).

Any idea what the problem might be?

Thanks, Christian
