Sensor Setup

Post by mudputty »

I am having a problem understanding how to setup the sensors. I can only seem to see four sensors, and I can't appear to be able to add any others. Are there any other resources available to help me better understand how to setup sensors?

your WH-1080 has only the sensors displayed.
What else do you expect?

OK, I think i'm starting to understand this. "Virtual Sensors" are extrapolations of variables from sensors. One thing that is interesting is I looked at my sensors this morning, and I was shocked to see more of them. I didn't think my station had any others. I see that "UV" is stuck on 1.0 which would make since seeing that I have no UV sensor, but what are "solar" and "lux"?

I did more digging. Those "extras" are supported sensors for the WH3080. So it appears that Meteohub is displaying all sensors available to the WH brand, but not necessarily just to this model. Not a biggie. Pretty cool actually. Makes me want to upgrade to the WH3080.
