MB stops receiving data **solved**

yesterday, my Meteobridge stopped receiving data from my Ambient weather station around noon.

I can get to the meteobrige 'page' and it said it had been up for 60 plus days [very nice] until i tried rebooting.

i tried unplugging everything, and plugging back in, but still no data

any ideas

I had something similar happen to my station (Ambient Weather WS-2090) starting at 6PM Eastern Time on Oct 16th. Basically it stopped receiving and sending updates to my website. I noticed from the Release Page that there was a new version (2.0) released on Oct 16th. As I recall, with the last major version (1.9), I had a similar problem right after the release. I spent several hours trying to get this working and was finally able to get it working by going through the steps of the cloud simulator at config.meteobridge.com and downloading a file to a thumb drive and plugging that into my meteobridge and booting up. It got me working but wiped out all my settings. After a half hour of remembering all the account information and settings, I was back up and running. I noticed on version 2.0, they have an option to not do an automatic upgrade to the latest version (on the System tab) and I have set it so stick with version 2.0. This may have been there before but I never noticed it. Good luck.

Weather station console had a USB hangup. Making the console powerless (power adapter, batteries, USB cable - all removed) and then powering it up again did solve the issue. Nothing related to Meteobridge, but a caveat of this type of station (but it does not happen often, many user will never see this).

Yes, I have 2 ambient weather WS-1080's. One of which has stopped sending twice in the last week. Admin is correct that it is a problem with this type of station. The only way to fix it that I know of is to power down the console completely and remove the batteries, then restart. My suspicions for this is interference. The station that stopped twice within the last week, the console is right on top of the router, due to limited space.

My second ws-1080 however is on a table about a metre away from the router/and any electrical source. It has only had 1 dropout since I installed it in July.
