Hi,
I'm running version 2.3
I've discovered that on a reboot the network
gateway is not set by DHCP.
I have to set it using the command
route add default gw 192.168.1.1
What is the best way to have this done automatically
after a boot.
I need to have this set to ensure email notifications
work (amongst other thing).
Peter.
DHCP doen't set gateway

Re:DHCP doen't set gateway
Hi,
usually the dhcp server is also giving the gateway ip. What dhcp server are you using?
Did you try to change to static ip, set the gateway manually, save this, set back to dhcp. Did it remember your given gateway in this case?

Re:DHCP doen't set gateway
Hi,
The dhcp client is udhcpc version 1.2.1, as distributed
with the system provided with the 2.x upgrade of
meteohub.
I have used static network configuration, it worked OK,
but when I went back to dhcp the gateway was
lost again.
I'm using static network configuration now. I'll
leave it like that unless I can find a solution
to the udhcpc problem.
