meteobridge reset from remote location

I use the meteobridge with Davis Vantage Vue at my school/work site and the internet went down today after I left work. However, when the internet came back up, the connection and updating to my weather network was lost. I suspect that a reset is necessary, and I will check upon returning to the school site. In the event that this occurs again, is there any way for an end-user/owner to perform a reset from a remote location? I understand that meteobridge supports remote login... So, it must be possible. Please advise, as I would like to avoid any future interruption in data flow. Thanks.

By remote reset, do you mean a remote reboot?

In remote router, I have set port forwarding of meteobridge LAN IP address to port 80. Then in browser at home, I enter WAN address of meteobridge router, followed by :80
The control panel of meteobridge is then displayed and can be rebooted.

Villiewe,

The control panel of meteobridge is then displayed and can be rebooted.

Would this allow me to make changes to the "Push Services" tab from home and not at the location of the weather station?

Tom

I have found that all meteobridge tabs are accessible from home if router " port forwarding" is set so that port 80 goes to the LAN of the meteobridge.

Also set port forwarding for port 22 to the LAN IP of the meteo bridge. ( I don't know why port 22 is done or if it is even necessary but setting 22 & 80m this way works getting to meteobridge tabs)

For the URL window at home, type in router WAN followed by :80 no spaces
