Raspberry PI - regular Meteohub image 4.9z available

Post by admin »

The Raspberry PI image for Meteohub has been reworked and we have a valid starting point now.
Please download and install the version linked here: http://wiki.meteohub.de/Images

You find installation instructions here: http://wiki.meteohub.de/Setup_RPI

When you have installed something prior, please drop that and start over with the image linked above.
Alpha image handed out before will have trouble in doing updates. Correct image has kernel version 3.10.34+ (or newer). If your kernel version (displayed on "System Info" page) is older, please reinstall the SD card image.

Is it possible to use the second USB slot on the Raspberry card for the media in lieu of an SD card? Am interested in migrating two old NSLU2's but I just bought two expensive SLC USB sticks that have a lot of life left on them.

I have successfully migrated data from NSLU2 to new RPI (with licence transfer), but on PRi don`t work Application Data Backup. If you click on Backup in meteohub, display message "Backup to file "/public/meteohub.backup" successfully started.
An entry in the log file will indicate when creation of back file has been completed." but backup file is not created in /public, on NSLU2 this work without problem.

And a lot of other things will not work, as checks for the SD card are done in several application modules.
