Problem with Twitter uploads (Push Service) **solved**

Hi all,

I seem to have a problem with the Twitter push service. I chose "Twitter" as a service under "Push Services," and then I chose "Specific Time" under "Select Event Type." Subsequently, I chose a specific time of the day. However, the service does not seem to work (no uploads to Twitter). I have tried different times, but nothing works.

The same problem occurs when choosing "once a day" as the repetition period under the "Periodical" option ("Select Event Type").

On the contrary, other options under the "Periodical" option seem to work properly.

Note 1: Twitter authentication is properly done (green check mark). Twitter uploads work fine under other "Periodical" options (e.g., every minute).
Note 2: I am currently using MeteoBridge 2.3 (4494).

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,

chrysnic

This is strange. After going for more than 24 hours without uploading any tweets, Meteobridge has started to post tweets properly at the preset time (daily). Everything seems to be in order now.

I saw this with my MB.

When you modified the twitts or something on PUSH SERVICES, twitter services or http services fall down for a bit!, maybe this happened with you

I think there is a bug that makes triggering of those special timer events sometimes not reliable. Will be fixed with next update.

I am experiencing this exact issue on Meteobridge 3.1 (Dec 3 2016, build 10756), FW 1.4 on a TL-MR3040.

Has this not been fixed? Is there a log somewhere that I can use to diagnose the problem?

this has been fixed long ago. I doubt that your issue is related to this closed bug.

Ok, so you're saying it's fixed and I am still experiencing an exact replica of what is described by the OP of this old thread. Then maybe there is some fringe scenario where the old bug re-occurs? Or maybe it's something new? Do you have any suggestions on where I could start looking for the problem? If I had access to the source code I could probably figure it out on my own, but now I don't...

The attached screen grab is the only way I can get a tweet to fire at a specific time.

Please post a screen dump of the settings that do not work. I am happy to test on my rig.

Is it just twitter or can I reproduce with sending emails as well?

I have tested it now, and it seems that "Specific Time" works correctly with sending emails. But it is still not working with twitter. So it seems the problem is isolated to the twitter event...?

Newest update fixes any occurence of "specific times", regardless the used service.

I have now tested this for a couple of days on Meteobridge 3.2 (Jan 22 2017, build 10821), FW 1.4 and it works correctly now with Twitter. Thank you very much for the help in resolving the issue! :D

How to avoid a trigger when there is lost of sensor's signal?

Raise: ([th0temp-act=c.1:0] <= 5.0)
Clear: ([th0temp-act=c.1:0] > 6.0)
Messagem: FRIO | Temperatura atual em Westfália, já está abaixo dos [th0temp-act.1:--] °C.

Sometimes it happen, and shows "--°C".

Hi there.

I'm not sure this is relevant. this thread named "Problem with Twitter uploads (Push Service)" was last updated over 3 years ago.
