email kills logger process **solved**

Post by wvdkuil »

Meteobridge system tab:
Platform: Asus WL-330N3G
RAM: 29992 kB total, 4748 kB free (84% used)
Software Version: Linux 3.3.8 mips (LE), FW 1.0, MeteoBridge 2.3 (2599)

Push services:
4 FTP - 1 HTTP

I try to add email
Short html email works like a charm, inclding style etc.
The email should contain 7 nicely formatted lines.
Up to three lines the e-mails are sent.
With 4 lines nothing happens, no mails are sent anymore.
Adding the full html e-mail body no mails are sent
BUT error at Live Data tab occurs:
Data Logger Failure
Data logger does not provide data. Please check that station settings are correct.

Removing the email event (#01 => delete) and save
The error on the live tab is gone, the sensors are read again.

So I do not have to enter anything for the email body as Meteobridge? remebers the last entered data
Just:
Select service => Email
Event type => Periodical
Press button: Add service event
Press button at the bottom: Save

and the live tab displays
Data Logger Failure
Data logger does not provide data. Please check that station settings are correct.

I tried a few times and it always happens at my site. Adding the email => message.
Deleting the email => logging restarts.
Rebooting and testing again, same error after adding email.
