I don't have system log anymore, it shows blank? Other logs works fine.

ftp upload fails often, connection timed out. (on desktop with filezilla and nautilus theres no problem.)

My updated systems do not show any of the problems you mention. Does not look like an update issue to me.

I am seeing more timeouts on WeatherNetworks and others with 5.0 than I did with 4.9[z,za,zb,zc].

Also, with the number of graph creations I had at the 1 minute mark, I would get a lot of failures for my MHtags.

I calmed the number of creations at the 1 minute mark down, and it seems better, but I'm still seeing more timeouts for the weather networks.

I can set timeout to a larger amount with next update.
BTW, how does the message that tells you about a timeout look like?

Looks like you changed things in the system. I don't see these problems with a stock Meteohub system.
I think it is obvious that I do not give support on non-stock Meteohub systems.

I am still on 4.9z and have the time outs. It's not an update issue. It's an issue with wundeground.

and the MHtags stuff was (I think) due to having too much stuff on 1 minute updates).

It would be nice if you would be a little more forthcoming with why you think I modified something......

Apart from individual connection problems reported by user "lrosenman" there is no issue. Newest hot-fix for version 5.0 does give a bit more time out period, but if you are on rapid fire to WU, you cannot wait a long time before dropping the connection.
Also putting tons of upload services to 1 minute intervals is not a too great idea, when you experience upload timeout problems. This is something every user has to work out individually and when it is ones hobby to push everything to the limit, then the upcoming issues are the bonus for doing so

What exactly is the problem with your log files? Is just "system log" impacted? Please give a bit more detail. Did you do changes to the Meteohub system via ssh shell? Did you install additional services?

Now, after newest update, system log came back.
Only mod via ssh was starting rsync service few months earlier.

I have rapid fire to WU activated, maybe I'll try disabling it.
