Questions about migrating from Meteohub
I am a long time user of Meteohub on Raspberry Pi. It has had periods of great stability for me, but then periods of instability. I suspect that you will tell me it's due to SD card issues, and perhaps it is. I am considering moving to Meteobridge, as that is clearly where the development and ...

Re: Rpi3 with SSD
Phew! I have done this. It appears to be working. I somehow glossed over the part about backing up the original data, and things were not working when I rebooted and had the new /data mount point. In some ways, I didn't care about the lost data, but it seemed unhappy because it was missing the basic ...

Re: System stopped updating
I've never replaced it.
After reading your post, I ordered a replacement. FWIW, it's a "SanDisk High Endurance" card. No, not a real industrial strength card. I would like to think that if this were the problem, *something* would be logging those write errors, but I don't see anything suggesting ...

Running meteohub 5.1b (build 263)
Connected to an Acurite weather station.
It's been running for years, with only occasional hiccups. Been running for months with 5.1b. Nothing had changed; in fact I was on vacation when it stopped updating. I really only post my weather data to Weather Underground ...

updates.
I confess to being pretty frustrated with the support here. This is not the usual freeware, I did pay for it. But looking at all the unanswered posts in the forum is very disheartening. On the topic of updates, there hasn't been a reliable place to look for what updates contain for some time now. I ...

Re: Weather Underground upload fail
Periodically, I get email from WU telling me my station stopped reporting. Then I'll get another one that it is all set. This happens at apparently random intervals, and for apparently random periods of time. On their site, there will be a section of data where the lines are all just horizontal ...

Re: 5.0s what is changed =
I was told to look here: http://wiki.meteohub.de/Updates for info about updates, but s has not been documented there yet. From elsewhere, it appears that support has been added for the Raspberry Pi 3, but that's just a guess, because we're reduced to guessing/inferring.

Re: 5.0 o and p?
Please, when posting updates in the future to the wiki page, add a date. It would be nice to be able to refer back to release dates that way.

Re: WeatherUnderground failures -- where does the fault lie?
So after replacing the batteries, I still had episodes of data dropouts for a few days. But it has been stable now for weeks, with no complaints from WU.

Re: WeatherUnderground failures -- where does the fault lie?
So it does seem that my "th0" sensor is not always providing data. In the Acurite, the outdoor unit is basically an all-in-one, so it surprises me that what must be the simplest sensor isn't doing its job? The wind seems to be OK. I just today replaced the batteries in the unit, but I still see ...

Re: WeatherUnderground failures -- where does the fault lie?
Thanks for answering! The station is an Acurite 1025/1035/1525. It has been pretty stable for the year. And I'm not sure I understand how the logs work in meteohub. Does the lack of messages mean that things returned to normal, or does it mean that nothing had changed? Here are the alarm log entries ...
