Re: NANO SD: major failure

As I explained it not a matter of WIFI since every minute an internal server hit a template URL and no data loss has been reported. Moreover, ALL network services stalled at the same time (5 if I recall well). I'm very surprised that no warning whatsoever is delivered by email for instance.

Re: THSW-Index, Cloudheight and Average values

Sure, but NANO HD is definitely dedicated to Davis VP2 and this index is really very interesting. So it is just to bad that it can't be reported.

Re: NANO SD: major failure

Thanks for info. However it cannot be a WIFI issue because every minute a server inside the LAN connects to NANO to grab data. No interruption in the service has been noticed. There are no repeater. There are several APs all connected to the router. To repeat what has been said in the OP, I'm very s...

Re: NANO SD: major failure

Thanks for your feedback. wifi is very strong and professional grade. I live in the country side, very small village, almost nothing else in the area. When I connected to the nano HD I had no difficulties. I did not have any warning either. I don't expect a network issue. Anyhow a buffer saturation ...

Re: Camera integration: does meteobridge support RSTP

After a lot of search, I stumbled on iSpy and thanks to that I discovered that the correct instruction for a Dahua DH-IPC-HDBW2431RP-ZS cam is

Re: THSW-Index, Cloudheight and Average values

THSW is a bit more complex. How Davis is calculating this, is introduced in their "AN_28-derived-weather-variables" manual, see https://www.davisinstruments.com/product_documents/weather/app_notes/AN_28-derived-weather-variables.pdf . There is no need to try to recompute something that the VP2 does...

NANO SD: major failure

Hello, NANO SD has been running without modifications since its installation (14 days). June the 7th, around 10pm, I dicovered that all weather networks that are set up ( Wundeground, Awekas, PWS, FTP upload) stopped to receive updates since around 9 am of the same day. Data looging was still workin...

If this is a big deal and it's important then simply use an Envoy, which you can then use an additional external temp sensor which actually replaces and reports as internal temp
It could be a smart alternative. A bit more expensive though

Re: NANO D heating up Console

Thanks I do know that. But beside the console reporting a wrong value, I would not be surprised it affects the humidity reading as well. Any clue? I'm wondering also whether the correction should be really an offset or a function depending on the current room temperature . I must admit it is not a b...

I vote for this request. THSW seems to have a general consensus over the climate specialists. Thank you

NANO D heating up Console. **solved**

It is well advised that NANO HD heats up the console and a temperature console adjustment of -2.2°C is proposed, my experience shows it should be -3°C. I find this solution not satisfactory for two reasons: the obvious one, display is wrong and secondly the humidity sensor mesurément is most wrong a...
