Re: MR3020 V1 with GW1000 Lots of logger restarts

Looks like it started doing it again. Meteobridge still has not been rebooted and uptime is now 8 days. It only didn't show logger restarts on Nov 17th it seems. I don't think it is a coincidence that I rebooted my camera system on the 17th. I think I have a suspicion on what it is causing the probl...

Re: MR3020 V1 with GW1000 Lots of logger restarts

Strange that the problem seems to have stopped without a Meteobridge reboot. Still running same version and log shows no issues in over 24 hours. Platform: TL-MR3020 (no USB hub) RAM: 29364 kB total, 1680 kB free (94% used) SW Version: Meteobridge 4.2 (Nov 7 2019, build 13265), FW 1.4 Uptime: 6 days...

Re: LAN Bridge ObserverIP No Live Data

I never could get it to work via LAN bridge. Plug the ObserverIP into the network and not to the Meteobridge. Better yet I really really truly recommend that you just forget the ObserverIP. The ObserverIP is a frigging nightmare as it is just unreliable when the Meteobridge is constantly hammering a...

Re: MR3020 V1 with GW1000 Lots of logger restarts

My GW1000 is on a Reserved DHCP IP Address from the router. The GW1000 doesn't have a way to actually set a true static IP address on the device.

MR3020 V1 with GW1000 Lots of logger restarts

This is something new. Before Nov 7 build things ran smoothly without logger restarts. I've not made any changes to any Meteobridge settings in a long time. There is a recent GW1000 firmware 1.5.3 available (came out about a week ago) but I've not upgraded. I'm still running GW1000 firmware 1.5.2 th...

Re: WMR200 conection to Meteobridge Pro

If you are considering a Davis go full VP2. Forget the Davis Vue as that is I feel a bad investment because sooner or later you'll be faced with a bad sensor. Every brand station eventually faces a sensor needing replacement. The problem with the Davis Vue is that you can't replace sensors like you ...

Re: WMR200 conection to Meteobridge Pro

I would invest in a new station before you decide to add a Meteobridge to keep running a WMR200. See here for more info: https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=38010.msg391301#msg391301 Once you invest in a new station depending on what it is you do with your data you may not need the Meteobridge a...

Re: Uploading to Ambient?

I'm not following your response as it doesn't make sense. What did you have before that you are calling a hub? Cut off service? To what? If you have anything from Ambient then it is free to upload to ambientweather.net forever. Ambient has never cut off service to anything. You only have to pay if y...

Re: Uploading to Ambient?

Meteobridge can only upload to Ambientweather.net if you have purchased the Ambientweather.net license ($160). Or if you have an Ambient version of the Meteobridge that is called WeatherBridge then that already comes with the required license. Ambient"s announcement has nothing to do with you upload...

Re: Replace Acurite 5n1 with new WS

Ecowitt HP2551 or Ambient WS-2000
Then to either add the Ecowitt GW1000
It will work marvelously with your Meteobridge

Re: Constant Rebooting of TL-MR3020

The problem for me before was caused by Meteoplug upload. Since I disabled Meteoplug my Meteobridge has been rock rolid. Not only did the reboots go away but random very frequent logger service restarts also went away. My GW1000 is powered by the MR3020 USB port which at one point I suspect was a pr...

Re: Support for low-cost station Ventus W835 added

This station is using the same sensor array as the Bresser stations. Also Ambient has has a WS-8478 that also using this sensor array. Same for Froggit with the WH6000. None of this stuff is Fine Offset (Ecowitt) as you would typically think of when you think Ambient or Froggit. These are instead ma...

Re: Weather station recommendations

Ecowitt HP2551 complete station that comes with HP2551-C and WH32B and WS65 (all-in-one sensor array). Or custom kit with the following; HP2551-C with WH32B, WS68, WH40, WH32, RS-00001. Yes, you need one WH32B and one WH32 and only the WH32 needs the RS-00001. Add extra sensors to either configurati...

Re: WL CLoud network support in Version 4.2

Do you have to have a Davis logger for this to work? What if I have an ID and key from a logger that is not being used? Will that work? Essentially what I'm trying to determine is if I can have a non-Davis station upload to Weatherlink.com by just physically owning a Davis logger but not actually us...
