Re: DarkSky API

I hear the next best option is to use Aeris. If you upload to PWSweather, then you get a free API for Aeris. This sounds like the best option. After you have your PWSweather station ID configured and uploading then do this to create your free AerisWeather PWS Contributor account https://www.aeriswea...

Re: Wish List Recommendation - Simultaneous multi-model support

But the memory constraint of meteobridge-router versions may makes this impossible. |Not for the Pro and Nano I think. Well then I'm all for the PRO and NANO to gain this capability and maybe more people will become interested in upgrading to these models. I'd still like to hear from Boris on this ...

Wish List Recommendation - Simultaneous multi-model support

I think it would be neat if the Meteobridge could pull data from more than one station brand at the same time. This could become useful if for example someone has a Davis station but would like to add extra sensors that Davis doesn't offer. They could then add an Ecowitt GW1000 with PM2.5 air qualit...

Re: How do I send a line break (new line) in webcam text

Thank you for the version information. I guess this settles the matter then. You can't use the \n for line break with the -draw function. The alternative is to do what I've done above and just -draw each line separately or use the -annotate function which looks like it has different syntax and needs...

Re: How do I send a line break (new line) in webcam text

I tried the \n with multiple \\ and it still doesn't work. Do you know the version of ImageMagick used by the Meteobridge? I did read the following over at ImageMagick... As of IM version 6.2.4, the "-draw text" operation no longer understands the use of '\n' as meaning newline, or the use of percen...

Re: How do I send a line break (new line) in webcam text

Well I figured it out by taking a different approach. Instead of sending a line break I just changed the code to send out two separate lines. It works...but would be simpler if someone could figure out how to add a line break. -resize 852x480 -fill black -draw "fill-opacity 0.7 rectangle 0 440 852 4...

How do I send a line break (new line) in webcam text **solved**

In sending webcam image to Meteobridge.com I'd like to know how to send a line break in the image text. I tried \n but the backslash gets removed when I save changes. I've managed to make the rectangle taller to accommodate the extra line. I just can't figure how to send the line break. Once I figur...

Re: Hack attempt on port 22222 - VantageVue and Netgear router

You don't need to open this port on your firewall for the Meteobridge to work.

The Meteobridge is getting data from your logger via an internal IP address. None of this involves messing with your firewall.

Yes I knew the inquiry was for the Pro. But I did not know that the Pro license did not require renewal. Thank you for that clarification.

Re: License included with purchase of Pro?

FYI - You still need to pay to renew license every 2 years if you want to continue to get firmware updates. This is optional. You can keep using with old firmware, but you won't get new features nor bug fixes.

Re: WEATHERBRIDGE Not working with WeatherLink

Looks like you have a class B local network. Your subnet mask is 255.255.0.0. Although there is nothing technically wrong with using a class B subnet, some stupidly configured devices/software (Davis software in this case) may have been improperly developed so that they only support a class C networ...

Re: TP-Link TL-MR3020 v3 not logging from W-8681-PRO II

That station console is not supported by Meteobridge. Instead of buying a complete new station you could instead get an Ecowitt GW1000. That will pick up all the sensors you have (and even newer sensors) and it will interface with Meteobridge. Be sure to select WH24 as station type when setting up t...

Re: Alarm condition for weather networks status fail

I recommend setting up AWEKAS. They have a notification alert you can set if you stop uploading as soon as 2 hours. Chances are that if you stop uploading to one service, then you have likely stopped uploading to all other sites too if the problem is on your end. That would be sufficient as an alert...

Re: Windy.com API key error in Weather Network tab **solved**

I can't explain it but I basically deleted my Windy configuration API key from my Meteobridge and then copy/pasted it again and now everything is back to normal.

Since I just started uploading I won't know if the random outages of data upload will persist.
