I suppose it depends on where you've been using your data. I've been using the Weather34 website template since 2019 and have historical records there, outside so to speak, of what Meteobridge holds in the database.
I plan to download the very latest version of this that Boris now maintains, and ...

Re: Moving Home
Well...from a meteorological PoV, if you move the station it de-facto becomes a new station.
While I'm not moving 100's of miles away, I am moving 5 miles (direct line) away and that would consititute a significant station change. Wundeground mandates that any change requires a new siteID and key ...

Moving Home
Hi All,
I have a house move coming soon and I was wondering what is the best way to "reset" the NanoSD ready for the new location?
Deleting the database is one item, and I'll have to create new weather network services for the new location, but would a full hardware reset be the best way?
What's ...

Re: station 2 - (user defined) causing logging but station is deleted
Ok. I think I fixed (worked around) it.
1) I emptied the script of all but the first line. That way if the script was still being called, it would not fail by not finding a deleted file
2) I deleted all the legacy data for the old, and not very accurate, solar and uv sensors from the database (after ...

station 2 - (user defined) causing logging but station is deleted
Hi Meteobridge Gurus (Boris et al),
A while ago I had written a used-defined weather station to inport UV & Solar readings. This was setup as Station 2 in the Station panel of the meteobridge admin. These were mapped to uv0index and sol0rad variables. Meteobridge mappings.jpg
Then I upgraded to a ...

Re: Vantage VUE to Pro2 Upgrade
Sorry to be unclear.
1) I have today a Davis Vantage Vue (Console and ISS - ID#1). Bought years ago. The VUE console has the NanoSD inserted.
2) I added a separate anemometer (ID#8)
I would like to upgrade to the Davis Vantage Pro. All new purchase options for the kit (https://www.weathershop.co ...

Re: Airlink - Disconnection Station Timeout
A reboot of the Airlink results in an instant reconnection to Meteobridge. Last night the log showed a drop and, 7-hrs later, a reconnect without the need to reboot the Airlink.
Thanks for giving that detail. I checked the Airlink read out code on the NANOs:

Re: Airlink - Disconnection Station Timeout
Airlink doesn't like being too far away from the AP. Is that any great distances involved?
The Airlink connection is to AP, same as the NanoSD is to the AP, there is really no direct link (as such) between the Airlink and Nano
The Airlink is the same distance to the Wifi Node as it is to the ...

Re: Airlink - Disconnection Station Timeout
Hi Admin.
The Meteobridge NanoSD is GOOD. It's sending out data to everything as expected. [Nb. Windy and Meteomap seem to be dead at the moment, but that's not the topic here.]
The issue is the sometime drop in connectivity between the Airlink and Meteobridge...even though Airlink continues to ...

Re: Vantage VUE to Pro2 Upgrade
The best bet, to upgrade, is to get the replacement Vantage Pro ISS and just use that with the Vue Console.
The console is relatively immaterial and I believe can add the Pro ISS under a new ID# and remove the VUE ISS when it's working.
That way I can upgrade the weather HW and not have to ...

Re: Airlink - Disconnection Station Timeout
Firewall?
Interference: since this worked before, has any new devices capable of RFI been installed near the Airlink?
Any new IOT devices near the device
Firewall: Nope all local LAN traffic is unrestricted. No "Zero Trust" here.
Interference: The only new item is a Raspberry Pi 5 which is now ...

Re: Airlink - Disconnection Station Timeout
I have specifc 2.4GHz networks for all my weather related kit [Separate SSIDs for 5GHz traffic]. All wifi SSIDs use the same private subnet. Both the Meteobridge and Airlink use static IPs addresses. The Airlink Wifi Rssi is ~61dB and both the Airlink and Meteobridge are using the same access point ...

Vantage VUE to Pro2 Upgrade
Hi All,
I've got a Vantage VUE with the console using an onboard NanoSD. If I were to upgrade to a Vantage Pro2, how does Meteobridge work in conjuction with the shiny flat Weatherlink Console (SKU 6313 - https://www.davisinstruments.com/products/weatherlink-console/)
There does not appear to be ...

Airlink - Disconnection Station Timeout
I've a problem with the Airlink and Metobridge.
According to the Davis Weatherlink App my Airlink is working on the static Ip addres I've assigned and sending data to the web.
According to my network the Airlink is ping-able and using a python script or a web browser can use the http://<ipaddr>/v1 ...
