What has happened to Meteohub

I am a very satisfied user of the Meteohub application for quite some years now.
Until 2012 there was a very lively development of this application and there were months there were more than one update posted.
Since the end of 2012 however further development and enhancements seem to have got a low ...

Re: Request: Log data to SQL

I have been interested in logging Meteohub data to an external (web hosted) MySQL database for a long time and i agree with Boris that the HTTP data logger api is very powerful.
But that having said, for most of us there is a very wide gap between knowing "it is possible" and actually developing a ...

Re: Update 4.9q

Hello,

after upgrading to 4.9q today i noticed Meteohub had stopped logging weather data.
Manually starting the logging process did not have any effect.
Looking at the Meteohub log files i noticed the entry "Demo license timed out. Please contact "info@meteohub.de" to get a valid license"
But the ...

Error in [actual_thb0_press_hpa]?

I have installed Meteohub 4.9k this morning and noticed that the actual barometric pressure that is on the front page of my website is reporting the wrong value.
This front page is generated and uploaded by Meteohub based upon a HTML template in the PC network folder "/public/graphs" (see chapter 3 ...

Re: Meteohub on Silverstone DC01 or AKiTiO MyCloud Mini

Boris, my compliments,

I have migrated from an Alix3D2 to a Silverstone DC01 with a Vertex 30Gb SSD succesfully.
Most important reason for me was that i was running out of memory with a 4Gb CF-card, and replacing the CF card with an industry standard grade 8Gb CF card was not that much cheaper than ...

Alix 3D2 compact flash card nearly full

I have an Alix 3D2 running Meteohub from March 2009 until now without any problem.
It has a 4Gb Compact flash card installed.
The data area at this moment is 82% full, so the data of each month consumes approximately 2% of the capacity.
Conclusion is that in about 9 months it will be completely ...

Re: Automatic push of data to MySQL server

@rovinj: thank you for your PHP scripts,
However, I noticed the server script is encrypted using IonCube.
Probably you did this to protect your intellectual property, but I never install scripts on any server or computer unless I have validated the content of the script.
Who knows what the scripts ...

Re: Automatic push of data to MySQL server

It has already been more than two years that we (and I) are requesting an automatic push feature of data to a MySQL Server.
People who want to use WUGraphs really would appreciate this functionality !!

Re:How fast is recomputation? Version 3.2d reports numbers!

I fully agree that there is and should not be any competition, but what surprised me was the fact that a system, on which no generation and upload of graphs and webpages and data for weathernetworks is scheduled, is almost twice as fast with the recomputation of data compared to a system on which ...

Re:NSLU to Alix 3d2 - so far so bad!

I have also migrated from NSLU to Alix 3D2 yesterday. Luckily, I did not encounter as much problems as AAMFlyer did.

The only thing I had to figure out is how to extract the file "image.bin" from the USB stick as mentioned in chapter 1.2 bullet 3 of the manual. The USB stick has a unix filesystem ...
