Re: New disk image for RPI 4B rev 1.5 models
The response I got was that my hardware was not compatible. I had a rev 1.2 and rev 1.5 model RPi and neither worked once I configured the WiFi on them.
I'm requesting a refund at this point.

Re: New disk image for RPI 4B rev 1.5 models
I am setting up Meteobridge on a new RPI 4B, but I can't get the WiFi to work. You say on the 'preparing hardware' page that "If you have trouble in making use of WiFi please try previous v1.3 disk image" ... but that doesn't boot, I guess because of the need for an updated boot section. Will you ...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 - Won't Connect to WiFi after Configuration
I happened to have an older RPi 4 on hand, it's a v1.2 board. The problem with the v1.4 firmware is the same and the v1.3 won't boot at all.

Re: Cannot connect my Rpi to wifi
I appear to be having this exact same issue and the suggestions within this thread thus far have not proved helpful.
I too tried the v1.3 firmware and the RPi clearly says this is not compatible.
There needs to be a v1.5 to support these, apparently, slightly newer boards, that or some work around ...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 - Won't Connect to WiFi after Configuration
Some more clues.
1) I noted on setup that I'm not seeing a list of available of Wireless SSID's. At first I kind of ignored this, but now I think it's a hint at something being wrong.
2) Possibly related to the above, I'm not using the default IP ranges for my local network here. So this device ...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 - Won't Connect to WiFi after Configuration
I hadn't been watching what the screen was doing as the unit is another room, but when I came the following messages are repeated on screen. A possible clue perhaps?
Code: Select all
/dev/sda1: Can't open blockdev
/dev/sda: Can't open blockdev

Raspberry Pi 4 - Won't Connect to WiFi after Configuration
Update: the primary issue seems to be that I'm not seeing the list of my open SSID's in the interface.
There might be other issues at play as well related to not being able to mount the SSD, but let's start there.
