Recently I was installing meteohub on a first generation fit-pc with 2 NICs. Meteohub requires the primary NIC to be eth0 or it will not work properly.
My fit-pc was grabbing its first interface as eth1 and would ignore eth0. I emailed Boris (captain meteohub himself) and he pointed me in the ...

Re:FYI: NSLU2 Discontinued
I've got a koolu (http://chasblogspot.blogspot.com/2007/07/koolu-another-small-linux-pc.html)
which I really dig...5-10 watts during operation and it runs x86 binaries no problem. 4 USB ports makes it very versatile too. 80GB drive options (I am sure you can go bigger w/ laptop drives). Best part ...

Re:power failed, nslu2 won't start
Its funny you mention that pressing the button from different angles worked for you in the past. That's the same issue I had with this nslug when I opened this new nslug I got from amazon.com. I had to shake it a few times to get it to work. This time I took the unit apart and was pressing the ...

power failed, nslu2 won't start ** solved **
Greetings All,
I recently had a power failure and the nslu2 will not reboot. I've tried unplugging, replugging in all gear peripherals. I tested the power supply and have 5.4VDC no problem. No lights when I press power...I can feel the `click' when I press/depress the button, no luck. No LEDs light ...

random beeps?
Greetings All...I've noticed while working in the same room with the nslug that it beeps (as in the reboot beep) a couple times a day (maybe more when I'm not around). The strange part is that the machine has not rebooted (checked uptime).

Re:ssh-keygen?
The good news is that this works now. I've installed openssh, generated a keypair to securely copy /data/uploads/* to a remote webserver to be published. I simply added a crontab to copy that directory every hour. since the filenames of the graphs remain the same, they just overwrite both on the ...

Re:ssh-keygen?
I installed openssh with the force option (as it conflicted with dropbear's ssh and scp packages). It looks clean and seems to work well. I've generated a key and the password-less ssh works fine. I was looking in /data/graphs and could only find gnuplot definitions for the graphs. Is there a place ...

ssh-keygen?
I would like to setup my meteohub in such a way that it can push awekas with ssh (authorized keys) to my webserver which is in a colo. I intentionally do not use ftp because of the inherent security risks.
Is there a way ssh-keygen could be included with the next version that way I could simply add ...

archiving data?
Greetings...I've just ordered a nslu2 for my OS wmr-200 and am waiting patiently for it to arrive. I was reading through the manual and curious how much data is actually stored or archived on the usb stick.
