Meteohub stops collecting data from weatherlink

Hi there,

my weatherstation runs since about one month. Up to now meteohub collected data from weatherlink perfectly. But since a few days meteohub stops collecting data from weatherlink after a few hours of working.
I restart meteohub every day at 5am automatically. Other data collecting works fine, just weatherlink seems to struggle...any idea?

Which version of the weatherlink logger are you using, e.g., serial, USB or IP?

It's the USB version attached to a Weather-Envoy.
Additionally I run a Console standalone - so I know ISS is transfering data perfectly

I'm using 4.7g (Build 5302), but it already happened with 4.7f.

I remembered that there was a problem once with Meteoplug-Server configuration (german, see http://www.wetterforum.info/weatherboxx ... hilfe.html):

• I set the Upload-Interval then to 24h - this worked fine so far.

As I remembered these days, I reduced the Upload-Intervalto 6h, and now it seems to work again with Weatherlink...
...which dependency is there on that? May there be a buffer- or temp-data-overflow, if Meteoplug-Data won't be sent?

And again: Why can't I set Meteoplug-ServerUpload-Interval to none, if I do not use Meteoplug?

You can set Meteoplug upload to "none", at least that works with my rigs.

Shit, I still have problems collecting data from weatherlink.

I think it doesn't depend on upload-time none, 24h, or ...
But I recognized that it happens more often if System-Load is above 1.00.
And that occurs pretty often by now.
Also data-aggregation doesn't work fine then (don't bother having a look at http://untersiggenthal.meteo.selfip.inf ... ?show=data for actual data)

How can I find the cause of this high System-Load?

H E L P - my system still struggles

• I stopped the two additionally defined WeatherStation plugins.
• I updated to 4.7i
• Now only run my Vantage (with USB-Weatherlink-Interface) as Station 0 and System Data as Station 1
• System seems to work at high system load, is still around 1.00 (after recalculating)
• System stops collecting data from Weatherlink after a few hours, even if I restart meteohub daily
• and its getting worse every day

My System: Linux Kernel 2.6.24 997 BogoMIPS, 248 MB RAM, ALIX.1D (500 MHz)

What can I do to get my system working well again?

Please, can anybody support me?...

I got new troubles against giving the all-clear

But then I found that the archive interval of my Vantage/Envoy was set to 1 minute - I increased it to 5 minutes.
Does anybody know if that causes troubles in communication? What is the mechanism of the archive interval ?
