Meteohub 4.9 keeps dropping uploading to wunderground

I have been running since january 1, 2012 Meteohub 4.x and recently updated to 4.9 connected to a Meade TE923W-M-IP IP Network Wireless Weather Station I have a NetGear 3800 router and a D-link 655 router neither of them are able to maintain uploading data from the Meteohub. It works for half a day or a day but then the uploading to wunderground drops completely and have to reset Meteohub again and do this again and again HELP!!

I bought it from Ambientweather and it should be SHEEVAPLUG but I dont know if there are any versions or differences, are there any? Will go to the sites and check today and get back to you asap thanks!

resetting meteohubs is no cure. you have to find the root cause. i did answer on your other post.
btw, it please don't open multiple threads on the same issue plus sending mails.

Did you update to the most recent version 4.9e? This will spare us to fight with already solved bugs

Thanks for your response I connected with my laptop to Meteohub via a browser and had to accept the LICENSE terms after loggin and then Meteohub did the 4.9e update from version 4.9d and started uploading to Wunderground http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstat ... =ISAMANAS2 but I am afraid that it wont keep logging after a while

Are these intervals values correct for the 4.9e and the TE923 WS?

What is the default interval for Wunderground Rapid Fire for the TE923 WS?

1) Please deselect "radio clock" as you have an internet connect. ntp is much better. It also says so in the manual, btw.
2) WU rapid fire is about 10 seconds, but your weather station does only deliver data every minute, so don't worry about that. That has btw nothing to do with the live data uploads or Meteoplug server intervals your screen dump shows
3) Please let "data hold interval" at 300 or 600 seconds, otherwise your weather station data logger will be restarted again and again, when this timer is passed and no fresh data coming from the weather station. I don't know if this is part of your issue.
4) Why are you afraid it will stop sending updates to WU when it started fine? This normally works very stable unless misconfigured.

Thanks for your assistance with this issue. During night time when the TE923 UV sensor is not reading in the WS how does the 300 seconds restart interval scheme works?

I am afraid that when the Meteohub does the next automatic application update it would require that I have to select the box to accept the terms and conditions prior to restart its data logging or not? This was what happened last time with version 4.9d update the application did not run until I logged into and check the box in the LICENSE window, which I had donde for 4.9c a month ago. It did not remember me doing this. If I have to do this action after every new update the WS will not be logging data since this unit is located in a remote location and it doesnt have a static IP to log remotely and check it. Please check this updating scheme.

you will only be asked to accept the license terms when it is a new isnatll or lan ip did change, which would be an indicator that the ownership of the system has changed. however, this only affects the web interface, all ither functions will not be disurbed by this.

the hold data threshold is the maximum time meteohub regards the latest data from the weatherstation being recent. after that it tries to restart the logger as it assumes there is a connection problem with the weather station.
this has nothing to do with the interval meteohub tries to grab fresh data from the station. this is station specific, meteohub polls for data in intervals designed not to overlook a single value. so dont care about that.

This IP change due a a power failures that we had in this area may have been the cause for lack of logging data. The meteohub and TE923 WS has an UPS but it only last one hour without grid electricity so it go down eventually .

What can I do (or what can you program into the firmware?) since blackout due to storms are occur very frequently in this area and I need the MeteoHub Sheevaplug to restart without having to "accept" the license terms?

The router will shut down and restart and it has DHCP dynamic IP scheme because the internet service provider WAN is

I have set internally the router to DHCP but have reserved the Meteohub IP, but when it goes down due to a power failure and everything restart when power comes back again, this is what I am asking if it may trigger the Meteohub license "accept terms" button that has to be checked by the user prior to starting its data loggging session or no?

Well, I'm a kind of surprised that the MH license is bound to the ip address of MH, I thought it was only mac address related.

Beyond that, are you saying that, even with the address reservation, MH get's a different ip address assigned every-time it restarts? That doesn't sound right. Also, if that is the case, why not configure the ip address fixed in MH according to the reservation that you have made in the router?

I have programmed the router for static IP and also Meteohub lets see how it works!

Hope that the next Meteohub update after 4.9e doesnt requires the user to accept the licence terms
