Meteobridge reporting phantom Sensors **solved**

Post by joey »

Hi,

I'm running the Ambient Weather version of MeteoBridge, "Linux/OpenWrt 3.3.8 mips (BE), FW 1.2, MeteoBridge 2.1 (3148)", and the device is reporting UV data to Awekas. I don't have a UV sensor. I haven't found anyway to disable that sensor in the UI or customize what is being sent to Awekas. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks,

Joey

Davis Vantage Pro 2 Wireless. That communicates to the Weather Envoy and the datalogger is plugged into that.

That is strange, as the Vantage reports 0xff when no UV or solar sensor present and these values are suppressed for submission. Are you sure that the UV and solar sensor plugs are not connected on your PCB in your ISS? If water pours into that this also might generate false readings.

Yes. It doesn't report this way when using the WLINKIP dongle to Weatherlink. It's only something that started with the meteobridge. That said, it (meteobridge) is always reporting a constant "16" to awekas.
UV 1 h 16.0uvindex 16.0uvindex

The temp hasn't gotten over -17c in a week so I think we can discount water. :-)

Hi, can you please mail the MAC of your Meteobridge (as displayed on system tab) to "info(at)meteobridge.com"?
