Installed it, a question (or two) ** solved **

Post by J.S. »

Hi, I installed it. A second small USB stick came in handy btw.

I have accessed my meteohub via another IP address with IPscan and got connected. It says the demo will last me another 68 days (ie 1 oktober I guess). Is this correct?

RFXCOM was found. I have browsed threw the software and sensors. Suppose I have three 810 temperature sensors, will they be called differently. It seems as it you can only call one 810...for instance.

Thanks again. I am very happy thusfar. secondhand NSLU2 works great!

On the Meteohub "Sensors" page you allocate each sensor to a different ID from a drop down list, e.g. th0, th1, etc., and you can also give each sensor a 'name'.
For example I have two THWR288 sensors, which I choose to allocate to IDs t7 and t8, and to name as "Solar-B" and "Soil-A" (arbitray names that have meaning to me :) ).

Does that make sense now?
