TP-LINK TL-MR3020 - unable reset to defaults

Post by jgehrts »

I'm having a problem with a TP-LINK TL-MR3020. I need to do a reset on the device, but it never goes into fast-blink mode. I've installed 19 other weather stations, each using its own MR3020, and have not had a problem with any of the MR3020s (including resetting as needed) except for this one.

Thanks for the assistance.

May be you have not flashed this one at all and it is still on TP-Link FW?
Just a guess, but when would have to do 20 flashes in sequence, I am sure I would drop one accidentially anyhow ;-)

They all came from Ambient Weather and came "pre-flashed" (so to speak :) )

Does it stay in slow blink or steady on?

The larger light/button that has the slow/fast blink functionality doesn't even begin to do a slow blink unless I press it. It will then slow blink for a few minutes, then turn back off. It doesn't proceed to a fast blink or solid.

Looks like a faulty system/flash, please contact ambient for a replacement, I am out of ideas.
