Meteohub Locked Up

Just before bed tonight I found out that my Meteohub was locked up (on, but dead). It appears to have been locked up for about 12 hours today.

No flashing lights at all. No LAN access. Just solid lights that do nothing.

I rebooted the unit and found that no data was collected today while it was locked up.

The Meteohub log had the following errors in it:

After seeing similar errors again tonight after rebooting, I ran the 'data cleanup' procedure. And now I wait to see if this is fixed.

I just replaced the USB drive with a brand new formatted unit and did a new install of the Meteoub software so I doubt there is a problem with the USB stick.

Any other ideas? Thanks.

I remember you had trouble from the start in with your unit. If you can rule out the USB stick, as having replaced this with a fresh one, I fear your NSLU2 might not working correctly, at least not all of the time.

I know of at least one other user, who had constantly trouble with his setup until finally replacing the NSLU2.

The situation you have at the moment is very frustrating, as this all looks like errors that are going to make your file system inconsistent... and this will bring up an endless list of new errors. Do you have a chance to replace your NSLU2?

A drawback of the NSLU2 being very cheap is that some units don't work very well on the long run.

Since I cleaned the data up, there have been no issues.

I will keep an eye on it.

I don't want to get another NSLU2 if you may change to another piece of equipment in the future.
