dashboard rain rate ** solved **

Post by binbags »

Is it possible to add one more column to the dashboard:unsure: giving actual rain total, rather than just the rain rate per hour.

I am a little confused as to the rain total display. Take yesterday here in the uk, we had by 16:00 15mm of rain but the dashboard and the graph showed 30mm. I know that the 15mm is the more acurate figure, I say this because I have two rain gauges and both of them are telling me that 15mm was the total by 16:00, I presume that both are not wrong, a total of 22m had fallen by 00:00.
Is there something that I have not set up correctly in meteohub, I have looked at the \"weather station\" section in meteohub and used the divide by 2 option, but am still not sure if the reading is correct:unsure:

regards

Hi,
i think tweaking by the calibration factor is not a solution here. There have been some changes with the rain sensor logging (espacially with more than one rain gauge in operation). May be this is already fixed by that changes.

I suggest that you have an eye on this. If it occurs again with 1.7e or later, we should dig into it.

Hi Boris

Second rain gauge has been removed by about 1 week, although I have kept the receiver running as this appears to be on the same frequency as the wmr928nx rain gauge and gives me daily totals from 9 days back history. The wmr928 rain gauge as you know, only gives 1 day history.:)
