A few weeks ago i updated meteobridge from 2.2 to 2.4
Now i'm running the latest the latest version, 2.5
Some issues i'm having:
- Child process received time out signal.....(16)
Then restart of meteobridge.
- Logger stops regularly.
- Adress already in use when logger restarts etc.
Seems to me that the more functionality meteobridge provides the less stable it runs.
Going back to previous versions is also not possible, if i select stick to version 2.3 or 2.4 or 2.2 (the most stable version for me) and i reboot, nothing changes, i'm stuck in the latest version.....
Also getting tons of schecksum errors, but thats no issue as long as the data gets trough, with version 2.2 i've had no checksum errors for over a month, and it was very stable.
For the last few days i had to much downtime of the meteobridge, mostly no data for 15 min. and once a complete crash, no way to log in only a power cycle did the trick.
So i'm curious if anyone recognizes these problems.
I'm using a WMR-200, and the reception of the sensors is ok, in meteobridge this works also fine at the live data tab.
Is there a way to go back to version 2.2 because as described above i can't get the version i prefer to load at reboot.
I wil post a screenshot of the messages on the system tab as soon as there are similar reports on my meteobridge, i've just rebooted the device so no issues yet.
Any help will be appreciated!
Gr. Tjeerd.

Re: Still having issues with latest version 2.5
I don't receive general feedback that 2.5 is somehow unstable. What is the RAM usage that
is displayed on "system info" page? Anything near to 95% might be problematic.
When you use a WMR200 then please be warned that this station itself can have problems
regarding RF reception (->will make Meteobridge restarting data logger because of timeouts
triggering) and USB connection.
Regarding going back to older versions there has indeed a bug smuggled in. Will be solved with next update.

I doubt going back to 2.2 will solve your issue which looks to me as being related
somehow to your specific weather station. However, when you reboot you will
have the latest version installed, that allows to select older versions to boot with
on next reboot.

Re: Still having issues with latest version 2.5
Hello.
Since i've gone back to version 2.2 everything works smoothly.
Last checksum error was yesterday.
Maybe there are checksum errors but they don't show up on the message window.
No problems with the logger anymore.
So for now i'm sticking to 2.2

Re: Still having issues with latest version 2.5
Update:
Still no problems sofar regarding checksum errors etc.
And no restarts of logger.
Seems to me that Version 2.5 is more sensitive to RF noise.
Anyone with WMR 200 have the same issue?

Re: Still having issues with latest version 2.5
Well, this will be the last update by me on this topc.
Sofar no problems with version 2.2
A few days ago i again tried version 2.5
It was a mess, indeed 2.5 gives more functionality and allows easy access via the internet but i'm having to much restarts of logger and that interrupts the data feed to weathernetworks also strange wind readings....
So again back to 2.2 and i will stay there.
I choose for reliability instead of more functionality.
As long as my WMR200 still works i'm on 2.2 (or Davis brings out the VP3 (ahum))
Then I'll switch to Davis
and to the newest version.......

Re: Still having issues with latest version 2.5
Hello.
Now things get really strange.
Two days ago I gave the latest version a try.
Works fine for a day, then the trouble starts.
Somehow my data on the live data tab is not updated, all the sensors except indoor temp are shown in red as they are old data.
Rebooting meteobridge solves the problem for a while.
Now I'm back to version 2.2 which is still the most stable version for me.
But now the live data tab shows sensorvalues which I don't use and I can't get rid of them.
Any help would be appreciated.
