RPi B+ won't connect to WMR-100

Hello, I hope someone can help me.

I've been running my RPi B+ with my WMR-100 reliably for a few weeks now. Today I added a UV sensor on the Sensors page and pressed 'save and restart data logging'. Since then, the RPi has refused to connect to the WMR-100. On the Sensors page it says 'error connect socket 127.0.0.1:5555 :Connection refused'

I tried hot and cold rebooting both the RPi and the WMR-100 several times, and unplugged/replugged/replaced the USB cable, but always the same result. I tried deleting and re-adding the Weather station in Meteohub. I also tried a WMR-88 station, but still no connection so I think the problem is at the Meteohub/RPi end.

Can anyone suggest how to fix my problem?

Hi,

I'm having same issue with an WMR100 on a VirtualBox, and haven't been able to solve it yet. When WMR is connected, can you then reboot or shutdown Meteohub without problems?

Yes, when the WMR-100 is plugged in to the RPi via its USB lead, I can reboot/shut down Meteohub. But Meteohub will not connect to it.

ok, I cannot reboot/shutdown when WMR is connected. Meteohub can connect to WMR at system-start, but e.g. restarting datalogging breaks the connection and then I cannot shutdown/reboot any more.
