Meteobridge not uploading data **solved**

Post by jamccomb »

Last week our Meteobridge / Ambient WS-2080 stopped sending data to the Internet, both the Weather Underground and via a push email.

The weather station is communicating with the Meteobridge computer OK and the Live data tab shows the same data as the display with the correct time.

All the network settings seem OK. When I remove and reconnect to the Weather Underground the green check marks change to green and Weather Underground says we are connected. Weather Underground even reports “Congratulations! Your personal weather station (ID #KVAMAURE2) is back online! , but no data is being received”

We have set up on Push Services via email. This is not working either. The email is being sent, but it contains no data.

When looking at the Live Data tab, it does not indicate that anything is happening about sending data.

Today we tried reverting to version 2.4 which did not help. We have rebooted the Meteobridge several times.

Here is some relevant data from the System tab.

I have attached a screen shot of the Live Data tab. It shows a push email sent, but it contained no data when received.

But there is no data coming into the meteobridge.
So there is no data to sent to WU.

The live data tab shows no data for today, only data for yesterday and older.
Also there is nothing below live data.
The weather station is communicating with the Meteobridge computer OK and the Live data tab shows the same data as the display with the correct time.
I do not see this in your screen shot. No data, no communicating, logger lines tell the same.

Check the cables between station and meteobridge

Re: Meteobridge not uploading data- solved

Problem solved.

I had several Live Data screenshots and attached one that showed no current data. Another one did.

However that fact that one screenshot was missing data plus the line in the log about "logger (22.06.2015 13:53:08): usb port reset." made me think that the issue was with the weather station console USB connection to the Meteobridge computer.

We restarted the weather station console, reconnected the USB connection and then also reset the Weather Underground credentials and immediately Weather Underground started to receive data.

Thank you
