Yes easy to explain... WLAN did never work with the LAN cable installed.

Ok just to be clear, I dumped the idea of using WLAN and now using a direct connection to LAN. So I know the 127.x.x.x address is and internal loopback address but can't figure out why it is giving this error and if it's because of the "DEMO" version how can I be sure before investing?

I'll mess with it some more tonight when I get home.

The DEMO is limited, among other things, to 4 months of operation and then it gives the "Data logging has been halted." warning.
To verify, look into the meteohub.log under Log files.
If there is: "Demo license timed out. Please contact "info@meteohub.de" to get a valid license.", then it's your case.

Well I bit the bullet last night and bought the full edition and I don't see the error any longer, so one problem down. Next question I have is my Vantage 2 station is only showing 4 sensors, wind, rain, indoor temp and outdoor temp where are the rest of my sensors? Until I can get all my sensors up and running I can't upload to Wunderground.

Stay tuned.

Did you read the (extended) Meteohub manual (pdf)?
You have to 'identify' the sensors ...

Arnfinn wrote:One comment to the problem of WIFI disappearing without cable in, could possibly be a problem with the router and DHCP settings (i.e. how Your router is setup to distribute IP adresses to devices in Your network, i.e. that something happens to the DHCP given to the wifi adaptor if the cable (ETH0) is not active)

Myself using/testing both Raspberry 2 (and Rasberry Model B+), with USB WIFI with Chipset: Ralink 5370
works just out of the box with Meteohub (also first connect with cable - in web view Meteohub (from other computer) add correct Wireless network and its security key, then save, then reboot and works fine also without the cable))

For users in Scandinavia, one possible place to order that WiFI device with external antenna (better reach) in Sweden is M Punkt nu (SEK 149)

As I needed WMR300 to work I updated to the 5.0i version of Meteohub -and Yes it works :-)
I have the same configuration, Raspberry 2 and Ralink 5370. It won't work, I have a red light at the Ralink 5370. What can be wrong?

I have a problem with wifi on the Raspberry, i have a Edimax 7811UN which is recognized by meteohub and i can see the ip adress for the meteohub in my router but i cannot ping it or get into the meteohub interface?

When i put back the network cable in Raspberry i reach the interface on the ip adress which is for the wlan.....

Did you do a reboot without the LAN cable connected?

If LAN cable is connected during boot, Meteohub disables WLAN and connects
via LAN. This is useful to recover from failed WLAN situations.
