Thanks and for the record I have had my Davis Vantage Pro 2 since early 2006 and prior to that I had a Davis Vantage Pro. I have been monitoring weather for the past 15+ years and I am fully familiar with my systems, capabilities and limitations. I have my own developed tools that dump the stations logs in addition to Weather Display. As far as the rain rate is concerned, my tools that dumped what is in the consoles log, the console display itself and Weather Display ALL have consistent and SAME data all of which are reasonable numbers for a rain rate test and not even close to Meteobridge reported numbers. I find it interesting that all the numbers reported by meteobridge for all other weather values are consistent and accurate EXCEPT for the rain reported log information. I also find it interesting that Meteohub which I have had for years and lately on a Raspberry Pi reports the SAME consistent numbers that Weather Display and my tools and the console report.
Yes I can and DID adjust the rain numbers by hand but the reality is they should be correctly pulled from the station in the first place rather its a brand new installation or not. It seems like there is a refusal to admit there is a software problem so I have restored my TP-LINK 3020 back to its original firmware and have moved on to create my own solution that I can install on Openwrt.
Rain Total for Year Incorrect **disputed**

Re: Rain Total for Year Incorrect
I explained to you multiple times that the initial yearly/monthly rain total needs to be adjusted once when you start. When you can't accept that this needs to be done once manually, then Meteobridge is not for you. BTW: Meteohub does the same, so your criticism comes a bit questionable to me, but it is up to you. Glad you found a better use for your MR3020.dgunnell wrote:Yes I can and DID adjust the rain numbers by hand but the reality is they should be correctly pulled from the station in the first place rather its a brand new installation or not.
