Read-only file system / no connectivity on IConnect

Post by MrReview »

Hi all,

a few days ago my Meteohub / iConnect stopped working. I can access the device through its regular IP with my browser, but it will prompt me a "system read only" message whenever I try to make changes. The Meteohub does not, however, appear in the network and I cannot access it through the Explorer.

The flash drive works nicely in Ubuntu and I can read / write from and to it. There is plenty of space left on the partitions. Still Meteohub comes up with "cannot write file, system read-only" message in any kind of menu that I try to work on.

Another strange thing: the iConnect ALWAYS blinks 192.168.2.123 after reboot, even if I limit the IP range to 192.168.1.xxx.

The system log reads:

2016-02-08T15:43:09.918340+01:00 localhost rsyslogd: WARNING: rsyslogd is running in compatibility mode. Automatically generated config directives may interfer with your rsyslog.conf settings. We suggest upgrading your config and adding -c3 as the first rsyslogd option.

This is from the dmesg log:

I can't make any sense of this. Anyone here with an idea?
