I noticed that at 5:40 AM today my metobridge pro had stopped reporting rain rate to weather underground. When I got home from work, the rain rate on the display was "--".
When I looked at the log file, the log had overflowed with errors about the database being read-only.
I clicked on the "check and repair database on the next boot", and restarted the meteobridge pro.
This is the boot log;

My database is completely gone. The meteobridge is working again, but its entire history is lost.
This is not terrible for me since the reported rain was not being recorded correctly, so I had not started using the meteobridge pro as my primary data source, but it bothers me that it is so fragile, and prone to spontaneous corruption.
Edit:
This just happened:

Also the programmed display is not happening. It has been displaying the smartbedded/license/IP page since it booted.

Re: Database is gone...
The process restart is now happening every 5 minutes and filling the log.
This is the reason that the display did not start. When I set the repeat rate to 2 minutes, the display started, previously it was at 10 minutes, and it did not start.

I'll send it again anyway...
Re: Database is gone... ***solved***
It was determined that the unit I had, had bad memory. I returned it an now have a new unit that is working.
