Indoor Temp sensor

Post by warrenb »

Hi there
Very new to this , but am looking to purchase a Red Pro. Just one question, if I use the inbuilt wireless pickup of data from the ISS, where would the pro get the indoor information from.

Also, I am thinking of using the email send to setup an IFTTT to control my heating for certain temperature ranges, anybody got any experience of doing this ?
Thanks

MB PRO has its own internal temp/hum/baro sensor and makes use of it.
As the sensor is in the housing it is heated up against ambient temperature,
but you can add a negative offset to it to get it somehow leveled to room temperature.

Thought I had fixed it, but alas no, does this look like a back internal USB.

Also is the display on the front supposed to be on all the time (setting in System is set to "Always On" as mine just comes on every now and again.

OK Also tried a front USB, and get the same error as above.

Basically set to "Always on" in normal mode will display the screen for 3 seconds every minute, designed to reduce screen burn out.

OK Cool, I have set it to rotating large font now anyway, this should also negate screen burn.
The database issue seems to have cleared itself up also. So all good.
