Acurite Meteo decimal point data error

Post by Dave96z34 »

Hello I'm Dave new to the forum.

Little history I was using Kevin keys Bridge reader to upload my Acurite 5in1 data to the world For 5 years. I was very successful till Acurite shutdown the bridges last February.... This very soar subject for me. In short when this last 5in1 dies I will be moving to something different. I will be taking recommendations for a new station. The weather flow Tempest looks very tempting. I live in a salt water environment so it need to be rugged.

Problem Statement
So I just got Meteobridge running, but I'm running into a problem. The station wind data keeps getting skewed. When a low wind speeds like 1.4 MPH gets changed to 140-150mph (242.7 kmh) and then get sent to all of the weather sites. The decimal keeps getting shifted around about 3 to 10 times a day till error detection shuts it down. The weather display has internal memory and when downloaded doesn't show the wind data spikes errors. The station signal strength is very strong so I'm not sure whats going on. Is 4.3 the correct version of the software?

The Hardware
I'm running a TL-MR3020 V1 with 4.3 fw 1.5 with a Acurite color display 1036 with a 5in1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
