just checked demo its working for me switches between de to en and vice versa based on setting de as default language. might want to check you updated all files ?? there was a considerable change to have this option.

I have checked the files on the server and everything is up to date. I have copied the original files 1:1 from the ZIP into an extra directory for testing without password, look https://wetter.de.cool/console007 (weather data offline).

Only the standard language works here too, changing the language does not work here.

FYI ..I tried the language switch when it was first introduced and it worked plus just tried it again and it's working OK here.

Maybe a cookie problem (common.php). But I have deleted all browser data.

I spent a couple of hours trying to replicate this locally but to no avail Im afraid .so for now I have removed it and ill sit down sometime and just rewrite the whole way the languages switch , I have an idea what is causing it but I don't have have the inclination at present to get stuck into it.in fact 4 weeks stuck at home has muted my brain and now we have a 100% lockdown/curfew for 48 hours from midnight.

sorry for the inconvenience it was worth a go but no point in having something works for some but not others.

solution to languages found was loading up common.php twice in some files sent u a pm to test a url with no password please let me know how it goes..

Just tested the 2nd language and it is working fine. In addition, the Lightning module has been doing great.

good i tested on 6 different user sites this morning i have access to and it worked on all . however 76 files were updated/changed so i updated the main download but i need to compile a update file perhaps tomorrow . for now its only via the main full download or github.. important thing is no need to update the weather34charts folder as no changes were made in that folder.. thanks for the feedback...brian

Yes. I just used Git and grabbed the 76 files. Everything seems to be fine.

I believe there was a US and EN choice at one point in the settings. So, it is still in my console-settings file. I think there is still a US language file in the Languages directory. Looks like the EN and US files are the same.

good but did you notice the theme switching needs updating replace two files common.php and settings.php from update just made.
so can we leave it there for languages for a long time please that little change to use language option had some considerable file changes not complicated or time consuming just a total of 78 files changed in the end.. more of a case of keeping track..thanks to the use of visual studio code it makes it easier.. https://code.visualstudio.com/ every developer should switch to this..

anyway thanks for feedback enjoy your easter period . only thing i miss about easter is the chocolate as your aware or not its not celebrated here officially and ramadan is almost upon us whilst i dont fast i do change my habits during the same period in respect of those fasting ...
