MB Pro and weather34 template

your meteobridge pro is having some problems outputting the data string
since this morning my two templates are offline my meteobridges work for data reports I have the following log

i can help you if you send remote login to meteobridge pro via pm or email. we can then set it up temporarily to send to my test server . this way we can break it down and try to find exactly what has gone wrong ..brian

so your meteobridge has an issue ?

2 devices that have a problem today and only with the template when everything is ok for the other "Services" configured ?

let someone else chime in . but your meteobridge pro is producing an incorrect output it can clearly seen where % is being sent that should be a blank space.
my meteobridge connects to your server correctly as per screenshots shown.

http://seremange-meteolive.franceserv.com/pws/index.php using my meteobridge data and is running ok so it is not a template issue hence opening up this thread .

As I said earlier and is now proved by Brian (weatherist34) it is not a weather34/ problem.

So lets eliminate all other possibilities.
Brian proposed to sent him your Meteobridge remote login URL and password.
Please do that so we can test if it is:

• in the ?d=values
  The string copied by you is to short, there are more values, probably a forecast string
• in the communication with your server or any server
  Brian's MB to your server = OK.
  Lets now test your MB to any other location.

So we can go step by step.
We can not "think" about this, we should "do something".

What you can do is check with your provider.

I just entered my test folder url into your meteobridge pro with the remote login you just sent and it is all working with no errors for homeweatherstation

your code in a MBrealtimeupload.txt on my server generated by your meteobridge pro , I don't own a meteobridge pro but you can identify it by the
CARAMBOLA2 and the 13:22 which is your data . so you need to look closely at your server for any changes .this is not something I can look at when it is at server level

• it is not weather34/
• it is not the Meteobridge
• it is not the data after ?d=

Well, you should really contact your provider and ask if some of your local-IP devices are added to a blacklist.
If both Meteobridges have a frequent upload, and are using HTTP-uploads to the same server-IP that can happen.

One other strange thing
If Brian can upload correct data, how can it disappear?
Brians data arrived -> it was displayed.
If your MB fails uploading, how can the data file become empty again?

It could be that the mb.php script is doing something before saving the data.
Maybe post a zip of the mb.php script? Mine is years old.

Hello,

I'm the Web Hosting Company and I identified the problem.

There are no blacklists, the HTTP status codes returned is "414" which mean "URI Too Long" following the RFC 7231.

This "414" HTTP code is a protection against web attack, I will adjust the protections to help you all.

Thank you to informed me about this problem but you should probably convert your GET queries to POST method to avoid this 414 in future with web hosting companies.

Just wonder, why if Brian's MB uploads the data to http://seremange-meteolive.franceserv.com/pws/index.php there is no error message. Although it is the same long string.

If all is working OK, fine with me. But strange story.
