GUI update: "2-row tab" navigation

Post by admin »

To reduce the content on some very busy tabs a 2-row tab navigation is introduced with just released update. Splitting the content made also splitting of some javascript code necessary. Therefore, there might be some undetected quirks. Please report in this thread if you find any.

Please do a "shift reload" with your browser, otherwise the cached old CSS and background GIF will prevent the GUI from showing up correctly on first load.

Shift reload should no longer be needed to make your browser aware to reload the new CSS and GIF.

Maybe I am looking at this wrong, but when I change "Units" from Celsius to Fahrenheit on the "Weather Station" sub-tab "Settings", the "Raw Sensor Data" in "Live Data" changes to values which do not reflect the correct values.

The values for "Offset" and "Factor" are 0.000 and 1.000 respectively. I believe those are the defaults.

Note the "Outdoor" temperature with "Units" in "Weather Station" sub-tab "Settings" set to Celsius:

There is about a 17 degree temperature difference in "Raw Sensor Data" when using Fahrenheit.

Also, would it be possible to add "Raw Sensor Data" for air pressure?

Thanks!

Thanks for spotting this!

Airpressure is already reported as part of the indoor data.

Thank you for the reply.... I had not seen that the pressure was reported along with the Indoor data.

I see you are preparing an update.... Will the temperature anomaly in "Raw Sensor Data" be addressed??

Thanks!!

I have updated my Meteobridge with the newest version (Ver. 4.4 - Sept 13,2020 - Build 3299), and see that the temperature anomaly in "Raw Sensor Data" is still present when switching Calibration units between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

Perhaps I am perceiving this feature improperly??

I prefer to use Imperial units for calibration.

Do I need to adjust the default units in "Offset" and "Factor" to use Imperial units??

I appreciate any clarification you can offer!

Thanks!

Sorry, I can't replicate this on my systems. Neither with the old nor the brand new SW versions. Could you please give me a remote login to your Meteobridge? Please send credentials to "info(at)meteobridge.com".

I'm seeing something similar (I think?) with the raw sensor data. it claims my interior temperature is significantly colder than it is.

But if I look at min/max pane, things look normal.

As said, I dont have that on a NANO SD, as you can see below.

Left side is without the switch to imperial, right side is with it.

So it must be something with your setup, which will need me to have a look at your Meteobridge.

Still seeing this oddity. Correct, flipping "use imperial" doesn't seem to matter...
