I have a problem with ftp upload which doesnt upload anything but logs say success.
Any ideas?

Some more details would be appreciated to be able to help you out.
E.g. Your MB Pro version, time stamps of the uploaded file(s) on your sending server (e.g. PC) and receiving server, file permissions,
logs from your server (if any helpful ones) etc.
All this can help to narrow down your case.
Otherwise your description won't help much (unless someone ran already in an issue in that field, happens to read your post and remembers).
Being more verbose helps here.

@gus: Don't use " or ' in the password. I know because Lukas has asked me to inspect your MB, which I just did.
And please get rid of the unsuited consumer USB stick in the front you are using as primary storage.
The MB PRO has a SLC USB memory inside that can handle the wear. Your stick will fail in the next months.
