good when my Davis air quality arrives ill replace the clock with air quality pm25 and pm10 chart but its best to wait until I have it front of me setup .far easier than guessing or waiting around for outcomes at the expense of broken data . have a great weekend..once again many thanks..Brian

Glad to help.

I have been pleased with the Purple Air unit, but I did order the Davis because they generally always have quality equipment. I may test on the inside environment.

Best wishes,

Chuck

i originally tried to order a purple air a couple of years ago but they wouldnt ship to turkey so i looked elsewhere but i think the davis air quality falls into the meteobridge nicely and mines going outside as I have already a 5v usb supply built into a outdoor outlet for power . not that it ever rains here serious situation growing here and nothing forecasted for september thats june, july ,august,september with only aprox 15 minutes of rain total of 2.5mm of rain in august , you can taste the dry dust in the air here i wont need a car just buy a camel..

why not Jason nice to have everything integrated with davis and meteobridge makes it far more easier to compile code and design.

For NanoSD users the latest version 9.34 has been fully integrated into the device so again once you dont even need a website to use this dashboard if you are NanoSD user however please bear in mind its not possible for me to resolve internal NanoSD issues if they arise i can only forward fixes onto Boris who then can apply fixes through firmware updates.

Brian,

Something amiss with the charts. Lo (min) temperatures, humidity, dewpoint & pressure are missing (NaN) for yesterday (19th) in monthly charts. Lo (min) values for the 18th are there but are not displaying on the graph lines.

Brian,

I now have my user defined script recording PM2.5 and PM10 values via the NanoSD.
Screenshot 2020-09-20 at 20 September 2020 16.18.13 pm.png
Screenshot 2020-09-20 at 20 September 2020 16.18.13 pm.png (196.53 KiB) Viewed 3927 times
However this is not showing up in the airqualitydavismod.php
Screenshot 2020-09-20 at 20 September 2020 16.23.58 pm.png

I was hoping that the work done on the user defined script would do the job of writing to api_181 and api_182. Alas, no!

Ps. I used the following code (in a copy of livedata.php) to dump out the contents of the incoming api 181 and 182 are definitely blank.

Code: Select all

	$meteobridgeapi = explode(" ", $file_live);
        foreach ($meteobridgeapi as $key=>$value) {
            $key++;
            echo "Item $key - $value" . "<br>";
        }
output:

Code: Select all

Item 177 - 21.7
Item 178 - 1018.1
Item 179 - --
Item 180 - 0.4
Item 181 - --
Item 182 - --
Item 183 - --
Item 184 - 61.3
Item 185 - 12.7
Item 186 - 0.8

hi jason im sorry dont quite understand what your asking ? the davis air quality script works fine from the API output if those sensors are set to primary #1 2 as seen here http://ringwoodweather.ddns.net/Weather34/index.php however until i have a unit delivered im not going to guess at anything anymore in the case it may screw up unknowingly . i spent quite a bit of time using grahams setup(he has numerous , purple air,luftdaten,davis air quality) he gave me remote access but im still rather unsure or certain its working as it should so forgive me but id rather wait until mines arrived then i can replicate and understand myself and end user queries somewhat easier. sorry its not what you want to hear but all will come good soon ..brian

Re: Weather34 TEMPLATE

Brian, understood. Without a unit it's difficult to fully experiment.

I have air1!1pm and air1!2pm values being recorded on the NanoSD using the User-Defined additional weather station rather than my workaround (SDS011 via RPi) until I get my Airlink. I was hoping that these were outputted by the NanoSD in the Weather34 weather station template as meteobridgeAPI_181 and meteobridgeAPI_182 fields; but they are not.

Boris has helped loads to get this far and I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of the problem, but thats for next week!

hmmm jason those strings you mention are not in the weather34 API first ive heard of using them in this way i just used the standard release strings for the davis air quality as advised by Boris in the week .think your looking for these strings to be added to the API but there is no room left i have enough room left to create davis air quality strings for daily max,low monthly max,low yearly max ,low and daily averages .think its best you wait till you have your davis air quality and when i get mine we will all be on the same boat so easier to resolve and diagnose things. until then patience is a virtue... :)

Re: Weather34 TEMPLATE

Brian,

I'm not looking to add more string into the API. I've seen all your recent posts and know that it's full.

I'm really trying to use the NanoSD User-defined weather station option (a script) to emulate the collection of AQI 2.5/10 Airlink data while I wait a month or two for my proper Airlink to arrive.

If I'm reading Boris's release notes correctly, a user-defined weather station is just a script pretending to be a weather station. If it's the first additional station then instead of th0temp, th0hum, th0dew etc. the raw data collected will be th1temp, th1hum, th1dew etc. In the case of air quality, my additional station is collecting data thus air1!1pm, air1!2pm.

I'm assuming that an Airlink, when added as the first additional station, will collect raw data as: th1temp, th1dew, air1!0pm, air1!1pm, air1!2pm etc.

I can only assume from my lack of success that the Airlink values as recorded on the Meteobridge are not conforming in some way to my expectations and the documentation.

Jason
