template.cgi missing? **solved**

The MB Wiki instructs to use the "template.cgi" script in a URL call to return data directly from the software. It gives an example of http://ip-of-meteobridge/cgi-bin/template.cgi?template=[DD...

This template is useful to obtain yesterday's min/max data from soil sensors in the garden directly from a browser window.

Using version 4.4 version after 10/12, MB's response to a template query is "no such file or directory". Has the path changed?

I have this issue too when querying Meteobridge. A query from my irrigation system or home automation controller both fail with "No such file or directory" as well.

P.S. I logged in via SSH and checked for the presence of the template....it does indeed seem to be missing.

I too am missing template.cgi in the latest firmware but the other cgi interfaces are available. A bit frustrating since I just set up a Siri Shortcut to read me the current weather from template.cgi (super easy to use!)

I have a TP-MR3020v1. The problem was there with the October 14 update, and I haven't tried the most recent update. I was waiting for confirmation that it was fixed, so will try it a bit later today. Thanks for the info

I just got 5.0, same issue of missing template.cgi:

You are right, on MR3020v1 the file has been stripped by error from the latest releases. It is added again. Final version 4.4 as well as new 5.0 do have it again. Please do a reboot.

Thanks for the update. Rebooted with V5 and it is now working properly.
