THWR800/WMR100 trouble and upgrade question

Today I received a THWR800 water temperature sensor for my WMR100. I set it up and I can see its data in WMR100 display. However, my meteohub is not able to see it.

When I look at the raw data with "Inspect data" option, there is no mention of the THWR800. I set it up on channel 3 so I guess it should show up as th2?

Because THWR800 measures only temperature, it shows in WMR100 without hydro information, like this: 21.5 C -- %. I wonder if this affects meteohub somehow?

I found a previous thread with a same question, but I was not able to find any usable answer from that thread.

There is one thing: I am still running version 2.6 of meteohub on my NSLU2. I wonder if newer versions have a fix for this problem?

That takes me to my another question: can I upgrade the newest version of meteohub straight on top of my 2.6 or should I make intermediate upgrades? What's the recommended procedure?

Thank you, I was able to upgrade successfully!

But, Meteohub still cannot see my THWR800 water temperature sensor. It's not visible in the Sensors list nor in Inspect data list.

The sensor is visible in my WMR100 though.

The THWR800 is a floating sensor for WMR100 and it looks identical to THWR288.

is it a pure temp sensor?
If so, the next update might cure that.

Running rc6 now but THWR800 is still not recognized. Any ideas?
