Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
Hello people,
I bought at Froggit the similar of GW1000 and the lightning detector. My MeteoBridge Pro detect the GW1000 and indoor data. Unfortunely, data from the lightning detector aren't there. At Ecowitt and the app, the lightning detector shows signals.
There wasn't a thunderstorm in the last days, so i haven't data from the sensor.
Is this normal or have I forgot to check something?
Thank you for your help.

Re: Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
Meteobridge will only show data from the WH57 (Froggit DP60) lightning detector if/after strike occurred
.
Until then nothing to be seen.
For your sensors and consoles, have a look at https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=40730.0
However, there is still an issue with the WH57 data.
There is still this "little green goblin" who likes to eat WH57 data, and it seems to reside somewhere between the database and the screen display - under certain conditions the data disappear from the display, not from the database. Plus the counter is always one too little (which might be one reason behind the MB's forgetfulness).
I've opened another thread in this respect: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=16153

Re: Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
I got my Ecowitt ws2001 (is GW2000 with WS90)
I added a WH57 lightningsensor too.
As I understand the lightningsensor will not show up on the live data tab until a strike is recorded
But the WS90 also has a haptic rain sensor this also does not show in live data tab
My question can meteobridge Nano SD record two rain sensors?
We haven't had any rain since I installed my WS90
Does the rain sensor pop up in the live data tab once rain is detected?
The GW2000 is configured as a GW1000 since the GW2000 is not available in meteobridge
Works fine by the way

Re: Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
1. it's the GW2001 station (or "Wittboy") = GW2000 console + WS90 sensor array - not WS2001
- a WS2001 doesn't exist
(see https://www.ecowitt.com/shop/goodsDetail/245#)
2. you will see lightning in the MB raw data only after at least one strike has been recorded before
3. the same with live data in the WS View Plus app or in the GW2000 WebUI
after the first strike recorded, the GW2000 console retains the timestamp of the last strike recorded and the distance of that strike (as do the GW1100 and WN19x0 consoles; the GW1000/WH2650 don't) - so does Meteobridge and the information can also be retrieved as [lgt0total-lastval] max number of strikes at the day of occurrence, [lgt0dist-lastval] lightning distance of the last strike and [lgt0total-nonzerotime=epoch:] time of the last strike in EPOCH notation (seconds since 1.1.1970).
4. for the WS90 you can see in WSView+/GW2000 WebUI Live data the rain data from either the WS90 or/and (!) another traditional outdoor rain gauge (WH40 or WH65/WS69 array). It depends on what is registered to the console (see: SensorsID menu point). If a traditional and the WS90 "piezo" sensor are both connected to the GW2000 (FW 2.1.3 on or GW1000 and WH2650 from firmware 1.6.9 on, GW1100 from FW 2.1.2 on), they will be shown synoptically in the Live Data and on the Ecowitt cloud dashboard (provided you have registered your console there).
5. MB FW 5.4 last release will be able to show both rain sensors in the RAW sensor data and in the Min/Max history.
The traditional rain gauge is shown as Rain or rain0total (primary station), the WS90 "piezo" rain is shown as Rain #1 or rain1total/rain0!1total.
6. The API for the GW1000, GW1100, GW2000, WH2650, WN19x0 consoles and their clones is the same (last firmware needed).
hence this is covered by the GW1000 driver/station in Meteobridge.
7. For more details on the different consoles and sensors, see https://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=40730.0

Re: Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
@Gyvate, hello forum,
a have a question about the ws90 and meteohub:
Fun fact: meteobridge autodiscover thinks that either one of my mystrom adapters or an esp32 with esphome is a gw1000. I guess it‘s related to the mac address.
Thanks + Regards

When I set it GW1000 in the Stations settings and point it too the IP of the ecowitt gw2000 I don‘t get any values. Only if I set it to ecowitt customer upload it works. Is that normal?6. Re: Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
looks like a local network issue
1. how is your GW2000 connected to your LAN ? Via WLAN or Ethernet ? Or both ?
2. do you have an IP/MAC binding set in your router for the GW2000 WLAN address (if you use it) ?
3. did you give your GW2000 a static IP (if you use the LAN/Ethernet interface) ?
4. what's your MB version ? latest release ?
5. how is your MB connected to the local network (LAN/WAN/DHCP) ?
my recommendation for both devices is LAN (Ethernet), static IP - most stable connection
(but in principle the WLAN communication should also work)

Re: Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
Hello @Gyvate
To answer your questions:
1. LAN
2. Yes, static lease for the mac
3. No, but static lease from dhcp
4. Release 5.4 / FW 1.4 on a RPI 4 with 4 GB and a non supported SD since it‘s a POC
5. LAN, static lease from DHCP, RPI and GW2000 both on the same switch
So now from a technical perspective … is there a specific TCP Port where MB is connecting?
GW2000 has firmware w2.1.4
Any other software I could try to see if it‘s just a MB issue or a general one.
Thanks a lot + Regards
Stefan

it's mainly port 45000
other software which reads from the GW1x00/GW2000/WN19x0 API:

Can't see the link Thank you.
Re: Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
It's in the post

Seriously, it's a download link. It contains the interface program of Weather Display (crongw1000.exe, to be extracted, unzipped), which, when you put in the IP address of your GW1000/GW1100/GW2000/WN191x console, will display the current sensors read from the API. It creates a (repeatedly overwritten) file gw1000.txt in the directory you run it from, which contains the posts of the console(s) in decimal form.

Re: Meteobridge PRO and GW1000
The interface is divided in four parts (left to right):
1. raw data (decimal)
2. configuration
3. sensors data translated
4. rain data if you own a WS90 and even have an additional WH40 connected
rain data from WH65/WS69 or WH40 alone (without a WS90 connected) will appear in part 3
