"once a day" has the meaning that when the Meteobridge has operated for 24h/48h/72h/... without being rebooted, it will trigger the event.
May be it makes more sense to define a certain time or "before each new day" to have it firing on midnight.
You also have to include the weather data you want via template variables in the message body, Meteobridge does not post a default set of data.
