1A is enough but the Davis power supply might not hold the 5V as precisely when giving a bit more amps as that is irrelevant for the console. A proper 5v 1A+ power supply might do better when challenged a bit.

Update, Still running with the 3 amp power supply.

Platform: Meteobridge NANO SD
RAM: 125 MB total, 62 MB free (50% used)
Storage: swissbit SLC, 1.8 GB total, 1.7 GB free (9% used, 2.8 yrs)
SW Version: Meteobridge 5.6 (Apr 30 2023, build 4529), FW 1.4
Uptime: 9 days, 22 hours, 16 minutes Buffer: 1 items (0%)

Looks like I will be retiring the PC at the end of this month.

The easiest way to upgrade the power supply without having to do any wiring is to purchase the Davis 6627 USB to Davis Plug Power Cord and a 3 to 4 Amp USB Power Supply. It’s just plug & play.

@BigAIT do you have any recommendations on the USB power supply... will something like this work?
