Long delays in the display of meta charts! **solved**
As of this morning (February 8, 2024) there is a long delay in the display of meta charts.
That is, the display time reaches 125 seconds from 15 seconds before!
Is there a problem with the server?
Platform: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B
RAM: 3895 MB total, 3755 MB free (3% used)
Storage: ATP SLC, 1.5 GB total, 774 MB free (50% used, 181.0 yrs!!!)
SW Version: Meteobridge 5.8 (Feb 7 2024, build 3145), FW 1.3

Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
Are you requesting charts directly form your Meteobridge via its local IP or via the remote access?
Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
The problem occurred on February 8th and lasted about 24 hours.
It was about remote access meteo-charts
P.S.
I am waiting for an answer regarding the WM989 console (viewtopic.php?t=17666&start=15 )
Thanks

Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
Remote access does go through many ways in the Internet. Hard to find the root cause.
Presenting charts via remote access to a wider public is not a good idea as it will
max out the capabilities of your Meteobridge (which is not a powerful web server)
and also puts load and bandwidth to your and my server's Internet connection.
It is strongly recommended to upload charts via FTP/SFTP to your web server and to give the public access to these!

Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
Can you describe to me how I will have the meta charts on my computer and
how I will upload them to my server?
Thank you very much

Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
You define an event to generate the chart (let's say every 5 mins) and trigger an SFTP/FTP upload event on "lastchart.hmtl" for this. Then you iframe this uploaded chart into your own servers web presence. Every 5 mins it will be updated by a more recent one.
Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
In the way you describe, the meta-charts do not appear, but only the charts!
Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
I am sure they do. Do you have problems to generate the chart or to do the upload?
Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
I have created several meta-charts and I want to upload them via ftp to my server using event.
IE
I add an event with ftp. When I press "select file for upload" the mete-charts do not appear!

Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
The way to do this is to generate a chart by a certain periodic interval and to trigger the FTP upload event from there by using the just generated chart "lastchart". Please don't forget to set the "delete" mark, otherwise your Meteobridge's internal storage will fill up with all the generated charts. You can use a constant ftp target name or one that includes timestamp info (as in the example).
Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
Does this method work on any chart - including the ones that are user defined?
I can create and upload allinone-imp but the user defined ones do not seem to work.

Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
yes, of course. What exactly is the problem?
On my PRO2 is see these options:

If I select another chart (user-defined) - it does not seem to be created and uploaded as an html file. Using the same settings as you show (except the chart definition name of course). allinone-iso has no problems.

Re: Long delays in the display of meta charts!
hm, when you give me remote access I can have a look. Please send credentials to "info(at)meteobridge.com".
Please also indicate, which chart is not working.
