Re: Aurora Downloads and Updates
Both links (Master and Simple) have been updated to January 2025 version just provided by Brian.
Re: Aurora Downloads and Updates
I was wondering, like Reindeer said, where further explanations of the (content of) updates will appear.
It remains a bit vague where we can find that information now. There was always an extensive discussion about what was or was not wrong, perhaps missing, wishes to add things. I don't see that anymore.
That is possible but seems strange to me, especially since someone, more or less, accidentally finds an update. It is not meant as criticism but more a search for structure. It would be a waste of all effort if things disappear into the mist.
Or, and that is certainly possible, I did not look properly.
Thanks in advance,
Bart

Re: Aurora Downloads and Updates
Ok, so you are asking for something like release notes?
Re: Aurora Downloads and Updates
Yes, that's right, I, and I suppose we, are looking for something like that. As far as I'm concerned, especially to keep Aurora Meteobridge alive.
Because now, and that could be me, it seems, as I said, to disappear into the mist. Because there is little visible communication, as far as I'm concerned.

quick answer go here viewtopic.php?t=18537
longer answer
it's a fair criticism ,always open to to critics and the honest answer is I tend to just push out updates with limited info has I find it tedious and often it becomes a technical blurb that few will actually read.
Ive mentioned frequently last couple of weeks the template will not be supported beyond December 2025 , numerous reasons being exhausted design ideas ,higher subscription design software annual fees ,don't own a weather station anymore or any meteobridge products ,preoccupied in other interests outside of computers which is mostly outdoor .
have a good day ...brian
Re: Aurora Downloads and Updates
Although I was really just looking for structure; where (the place in the forum) are the 'release notes' and in particular the discussions about it I thank you for the longer answer Brian.
I totally get you, especially since you have often indicated what your challenges and interests were and have become and what things made you less motivated. In that regard, I would like to express my respect to you for persevering for so long and continuing to support us with excellent and comprehensive code.
Thanks,
Have a great day,
Bart
