Experimental sunshine sensor based on solar radiation data

Re: Experimental sunshine sensor based on solar radiation data
That is, should I define the sensor data10!0num instead of data8!0num?
Re: Experimental sunshine sensor based on solar radiation data
I think I tried that but it doesn't matter. If you have wrong syntax for Virtual Sensor calculation, it will NOT show on Chart Define.
Again. Please post what you have typed in the calculation text box!!!!!

Re: Experimental sunshine sensor based on solar radiation data
I am rather sure that the mentioned sensors do not exist. You guess you see "data0!10num" etc which are system data from your MB PRO.
If your have setup the virtual sensor data8!0num as explained before and data shows up (test via database inspect tools on "database" tab) then the sensor will also be available for graphing.
Re: Experimental sunshine sensor based on solar radiation data
1.Τhe virtual sensors are visible in the image. The sensor "data0!8num" does not exist.
Where else should I define it?
2. I do not have the MB Pro but the Rpi4 with the meteostick
Platform: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.1 Rev 1.1
RAM: 3895 MB total, 3734 MB free (4% used)
Storage: ATP SLC, 1.5 GB total, 724 MB free (53% used, 254.2 yrs)
SW Version: 6.2 (Aug 12 2025, build 4096), FW 1.3

Re: Experimental sunshine sensor based on solar radiation data
Please see my example. Trigger is "sol0!0rate". Do you understand the concept of virtual sensors? They have a trigger and based on that a target sensor is defined, here "data8!0num". Please read my initial posting of this thread... it is really not that difficult... OMG
Re: Experimental sunshine sensor based on solar radiation data
"You are in the TRIGGER SENSOR drop down.
Select sol0!0rate
THEN go to VIRTUAL SENSOR drop down, and choose data8!0num
Input the computation syntax."
Thank you very much for the detailed information
Now data8!0num appears!
