Ecowitt GW1000 and Davis Wind Station - sensor mapping

Post by baobab »

Hello,

I have the following setup:
- Primary station: GW1000 receiving data from WS90
- Station1: Vantage USB Serial connected to Vantage Vue Console configured to Sta#2:Wind (all other stations set to off)

Problem: http://192.168.1.122/cgi-bin/livedata.cgi results in the following:
20260501020628 th0 20.3 17 -5.6 0
20260501020628 thb0 21.3 26 1.0 911.0 911.0 -1 0
20260501020628 wind0 201 0.9 0.9 20.3 0
20260501020628 sol0 39 0
20260501020552 uv0 0.0 0
20260501020558 rain1 0.0 0.0 0.0 0
20260501020630 wind0 155 0.4 1.3 20.3 0
20260501020602 thb0 22.4 28 3.0 910.4 1012.3 0 1
20260501020628 data10 16.00 0
20260501020628 data11 0.04 0
20260501020628 data12 1.00 0
20260501020628 data13 10.00 0
20260501020628 data15 113.00 0
20260501020628 t9 50.5 0
20260501020628 data16 0.00 0
As you can see, wind0 is duplicated (as is thb0).

The live data monitor differentiates the two wind inputs:
# Sensor Signal Metric Data Imperial Data

9 CPU T #9 1 sec 50.5°C 122.9°F
9 Data #16 1 sec 0sec since last data 0sec since last data
I have sensor mappings configured as follows:
Physical Sensor------Logical Sensor------Meaning
~
~
wind0!0avgwind------wind0avgwind------average wind speed
wind0!0chill------wind0chill------wind chill
wind0!0dir------wind0dir------wind direction
wind0!0wind-----wind0wind------wind speed
wind1!0avgwind------wind1avgwind------extra average wind speed #1
wind1!0chill------wind1chill-------extra wind chill #1
wind1!0dir------wind1dir------extra wind direction #1
wind1!0wind------wind1wind------extra wind speed #1
Why are there two wind0 data sets vs the expected wind0 and wind1? Am I doing something wrong and how can I fix this problem?

Thank you,

Baobab
